I enjoy exploring the natural world, while living in a rural environment. Working with clay satisfies a deep rooted desire, to make things from raw earthy materials. Pottery allows opportunities to reflect, on how I see colors, textures and movement. Making ceramics allows me to combine painting, drawing and use of my physical strength to create work. My family and farm have given me inspiration and experiences to reflect, observe, nurture, and redefine beliefs while also finding humor and pleasure in simplicity.
